Here at Ink, our team are your team - so if you ever need to discuss a project as two heads are often better than one, just pick up the phone or send us an email. Or if it's easier, we can drop by your office for a coffee and a chat.
Simon and Victoria Bullock
Simon started Ink back in 2001, while he and his wife, Victoria, were working and living in London. Following the arrival of their first son (they have three) they relocated to Simon's home county of Leicestershire and moved Ink with them. In 2013 they set up their factory in the heart of Market Harborough, bringing all of their expertise under one roof.
Victoria, while not looking after their boys, is looking after the admin side to the business. She can be found in the office or on email!
Simon's greatest passions outside of work are his family. His sons are avid sports players, so he finds most of his free time is spent on side-lines cheering them on and dreaming of them following in their great-grandad's footsteps and playing for England. So if you can't find him in the office or the touchline he is always available on his mobile!
Nigel looks after the Commercial and Estimating side of the business. With over 30 years' experience in the industry, there is nothing he doesn't know about printing. If you need a quote for a new job, Nigel is your man. Originally working as a press minder, he now manages the day-to-day running of the business with Stuart. Nigel is also the one to call when you have a computer problem as he likes to tinker and fix old stuff!
As Reproduction Manager, Stuart is responsible for setting up art work, scheduling in the different jobs and proofing work with clients. Alongside Nigel, he manages the day-to-day at Ink. Often to be found with a mug of tea in hand, Stuart is happiest when clients are happy and there's a chocolate digestive in the tin.
With a keen eye for detail and 35 years' experience, Paul is our press minder. His job is to ensure the presses are running smoothly and that every job that comes off the machines is perfect. Having once played Handball for England, he uses his competitive spirit to great effect around the press.
Nothing gets past Karl. As our print finisher he is Mr Perfection and if a job is not right he sends it back to be reprinted. He also runs the stitcher, folding and guillotine machines, meaning everything is cut perfectly to size and joined together as it should be. When not keeping his eye on the final products. Karl thinks of himself as a bit of a music buff, so if you're one short for a pub quiz team, you know who to call
Dawn and Elizabeth
Dawn and Elizabeth ensure every folder, carton or bespoke item we produce is hand finished to the highest standard. Their attention to detail, on top of Karl's, means that every piece of printed material which leaves Ink has been checked, checked and checked again.
As our freelance designer, Chris has the skills to bring our clients ideas to life. A trained artist and graphic designer with over fifteen years' experience, Chris' flair has an eye catching style which ensures our clients' work stands out from the crowd.
When not thinking up ideas, Chris can be found on his allotment and tending his bees. He's never happier than when he is 'growing his own'.
